The 2025 Louisiana 4-H Hunter Education Camp will be held Oct. 3–5, offering youth ages 10 to 14 a hands-on opportunity to earn their Orange Youth Hunting Safety Card through certifi ed instruction and immersive programming.
Hosted by the LSU AgCenter and Louisiana 4-H, the camp is open to current 4-H members and will take place at Camp Grant Walker. Participants will check in between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 3, and check out at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 5.
The $150 program fee covers all activities, which include hunter safety education led by LDWF-certified instructors and collaborative sessions with other Louisiana 4-H members. Volunteer registration is free and available through 4-H Online.
Registration will close Sept. 19. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged. Parents and adult volunteers may also register via 4-H Online.
