• Mangham Dragons Athletics will sponsor reserved seating for all home football games. Seats are available for $50 each, not including ticket price, and offer fans the best view in the stadium for the entire season. The exclusive section guarantees your seat every game night. • The Rayville Fire Department is seeking volunteers, emphasizing the critical need for community members to join their ranks. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, pass a background check and drug screening. • Jamie and J.L. Harrell will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary from 2-4 p.m. Aug. 23 at Rayville Methodist Church, 905 Louisa St., Rayville.

• Greater First COGIC, 2101 W. Madison Ave., Bastrop, will honor First Lady Georgia Hawkins Winston during a special service at 2 p.m. Aug. 31. Pastor Dr. Gabriel Winston will host the event, with First Lady Brendolyn Benjamin of Kingdom of Heaven Worship Center in Rayville serving as guest speaker.

• The Richland Parish Chamber of Commerce will host its 4th Annual Golf Tournament Sept. 4 at Black Bear Golf Course in Delhi. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., with a 9:30 a.m. tee time for the four-person scramble. Team entry is $500 and includes lunch, drinks, and all golf fees. Sponsorships are available. • Holly Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, 1540 Hwy 584, Rayville, will host a praise youth rally at 11 a.m. Sept. 7. Please wear your favorite school color. Guest speaker will be Jocelyn Doublin Anderson.

• The Hawkins Family will host the Legacy Inheritance Celebration remembering “Daddy T.J. Hawkins” at 6 p.m. on Sept. 7 at Greater First COGIC, 2101 West Madison Ave., Bastrop. Dr. Gabriel Winston, will preside over the event featuring the Hawkins Family, Hawkins Praise & Worship Team, Hawkins Family Choir, Hawkins Praise Dancers, and Sikos. Choirs and groups are invited to attend.

• The Delhi Town Council meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Monday of each month at Delhi Town Hall.

• The Rayville Town Council meets at 6 p.m. on the second Monday of each month.

• The Mangham Town Council meets at 6 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at Mangham Community Center.

• Friends of the Richland Parish Library, are hosting a painting workshop at the Rayville, Delhi and Mangham branches at 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. The fee is $25 per person per session and must be paid when registering in advance since seating is limited to 10 people per session. Call your library branch for more information.
