Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department has reported the following activity for the weeks of July 21 through Aug. 3.
Criminals arrests were made for theft less than $1,000, fugitive from justice, disturbing the peace the peace by profanity, disturbing the peace by simple drunk, resisting arrest by false information, resisting arrest by flight, simple assault, simple battery, careless operation with an accident, reckless operation with an accient, damage to property (two counts) and The Rayville Police Department issued a total of 27 traffic citations this week. That number includes 24 for speeding and one each for improper turn with an accident, improperly tinted windows and expired license plate.
