Rayville Elementary School is kicking off the 2025-2026 school year with its highly anticipated Back to School Bash from 2-4 p.m. Aug. 8.
The annual event invites students, parents, and educators to gather in celebration and preparation for the new academic journey ahead.
This year’s bash brings both excitement and essentials. Every registered RES student will receive a free clear backpack as part of the school’s continued commitment to equity and readiness. The distribution of clear bags is intended to help families check one more item off their school supply lists while ensuring safety and uniformity across campus.
Administrators also released the official schedule for the first days of school:
• Aug. 11: First full day for grades 1-5; Pre-K and Kindergarten boys report.
• Aug. 12: Pre-K and Kindergarten girls report.
• Aug. 13: All Pre-K and Kindergarten students attend.
