Holly Ridge Elementary updates safety protocols

School officials stated that student safety remains their highest priority.

Effective immediately, students will no longer use the playground located at the intersection of Highway 183 and Highway 80.

To reduce traffic risks, construction truck activity will be limited during school hours along Highway 183.

Changes to student drop-off and pick-up procedures have also been implemented. The car line has been relocated to the back of the school, and construction delivery schedules will be adjusted to avoid conflicts with school bus routes.
