Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department has reported the following activity for the week of July 14-20.
Criminal arrests were made for two counts of simple battery, disturbing the peace, remaining after being forbidden, resisting arrest, and possession of Schedule I narcotics.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of 16 traffic citations this week. That number includes 11 citations for speeding and one each for no insurance, expired license plate, failure to stop at a stop sign, careless operation with an accident, and failure to carry registration.
