Delhi Police Chief Roy Williams has announced the road is now open at the intersection of US 80 and LA 17 for through traffic.
Vehicles traveling north and south on LA 17 can continue through Delhi without taking side streets.
Also, vehicles traveling east and west on US 80 that need to go south on LA 17 can now continue through without taking side street.
“All commercial vehicles can stay off side streets and, commercial vehicles, if your trucks are equipped with CB radio, please spread the word that LA 17 north and south is open,” Chief Williams said.
He would like to thank all citizens of Delhi and the surrounding area for their patience.
