Hornet cheerleaders wow judges at camp

Rayville High School’s varsity cheerleading squad had an outstanding performance at UCA Camp 2025, held June 12-15 in Lafayette.

The team secured multiple awards, including first place in the Sideline and Camp Routine divisions and second place in the Camp Cheer category.

Five cheerleaders were recognized as All Americans, and four received the prestigious Pin It Forward honor. The team also won the coveted Spirit Stick on all three nights of the camp. In evaluations, they were named Overall Best in their division for the Sideline/Spirit Routine and earned an Excellent rating for their Camp Routine.

Rayville’s cheerleaders showcased skill, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout the camp, earning recognition as one of the top-performing squads in their division.
