Horace A. Mangham was editor of the Richland Beacon until his death in 1961. Soon after taking over his father’s position as editor of the paper, Mangham purchased the Richland News and consolidated the two papers into The Richland Beacon-News.The photograph is from the collection of Michael Anderson of Rayville.
