• Macedonia Baptist Church will host Vacation Bible School with the theme “God’s Laboratory: Fusing Elements for Explosive Joy” from 5-7 p.m. June 2-6. The event is hosted by First Calvary, Macedonia and Mount Zion Baptist churches with leadership from Rev. Anthony Slack, Rev. Mark Sledge and Pastor Van Brass.

• The City Wide Mission Organization is hosting a community food event from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or until the food runs out on June 7 at Masonic Lodge, 112 McCaa Street, Rayville. For just $14, guests can enjoy fried chicken wings, french fries, bread and water or soda.

• The Southern University Ag Center’s SNAP-Ed Nutrition Education Program, is hosting C.H.E.F. Camp 2025 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 9-13 at the Delhi Civic Center, 231 Denver St, Delhi. Open to children ages 9-12, the camp offers hands-on nutrition education for a $25 registration fee (cash or money order only). • The Alto High School Alumni Association will host a school-wide reunion and Juneteenth Celebration on June 20-21 at the Eula D. Britton Community Center in Rayville. The event includes a Meet & Greet from 6–9 p.m. on June 20 and a banquet dinner from 6–11 p.m. on June 21. Dr. Frances Staten will deliver the keynote address, sharing insights on excellence and perseverance. Paid alumni association members attend for free; nonmembers and guests pay $20 per event. The celebration will feature music, food, cultural exhibits, and special recognitions to honor history and community.

• The Richland Parish Veterans of Foreign Wars meet at 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Richland Parish Library.
