LSUA senior guard Kashie Natt has been named the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Player of the Year, capping an extraordinary season highlighted by a deep postseason run to the 2025 NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship Round of Eight.

The NAIA announced its prestigious postseason awards Monday, recognizing Natt as a First Team All-American for the second time in his standout collegiate career.

Natt, a Rayville native and former Rayville Hornet, put together one of the most impressive individual campaigns in LSUA history, averaging a doubledouble with 20 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. He started all 32 games for the Generals this season, averaging 26.6 minutes per contest and shooting 47.7% from the floor, 30.6% from beyond the arc, and 76.7% from the free-throw line. He finished the season ranked 32nd nationally in scoring and 12th in rebounding among all 237 NAIA basketball teams.
