The Delhi Relays featured an exciting day of competition, with standout performances across both the girls and boys divisions and a strong showing from the host school.

Ouachita Christian claimed the girls’ team title with 122 points, while Delhi finished an impressive second with 104 points. On the boys side, Wossman led the field, and Delhi placed fourth overall with 77 points.

Event winners highlighted the meet, including Addie Morris of Ouachita Christian in the girls 100-meter hurdles, Mariyha Ellis of Wossman in the girls 100-meter dash, and Delhi’s girls 4x100 relay team, which captured first place. Taylor Cleveland of Delhi also earned a first-place finish in the girls 300-meter hurdles, while La’kendra Fletcher added another victory for Delhi in the shot put. Other girls winners included Lucy Edwards (Ouachita Christian) in the 400-meter dash, Ella Ogden (Ouachita Christian) in the 800-meter run, and Wossman relay teams in the 4x200 and 4x400.

Delhi athletes delivered strong performances throughout the girls division, with Za’Quala Wilford placing second in the 100-meter dash and third in the 200-meter dash, while also contributing to the winning 4x100 relay team alongside Taylor Cleveland, Mahogony Cleveland, and Mellane Butler. Aeris Davis placed third in the 400-meter dash, and the Delhi 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams both earned podium finishes. In field events, Fletcher won the shot put and placed third in discus, while Imari Clark, Savannah Beals, and Mahogony Cleveland all placed in jumping events.

In the boys division, Delhi athletes continued to excel, led by Devin Miles, who won the 110-meter hurdles and placed second in the 300-meter hurdles. Terrance Williams claimed first place in the 200-meter dash, and Delhi’s 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams both earned first-place finishes. Jamarquise Richardson and Jatavious Hester were key contributors on those relay teams, while Tyson Ross added a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter run. In field events, Zion Hogan won the shot put and placed second in discus, and Jayden Lusk placed fourth in the high jump.
