Registration is now open for the A-Team Home Run Derby, which will be held June 13 at the Tim Hearn Sports Complex as part of the Harrison Thompson Memorial Tournament.
The event is open to participants ages 3-18 and is designed to give children with special needs an opportunity to take part in a competitive-style sports event adapted to their abilities.
According to organizers, the derby is intended to provide a fun and inclusive experience for young athletes who may not always have the opportunity to participate in traditional sports competitions.
The event will be held in conjunction with the annual Harrison Thompson Memorial Tournament, which supports youth athletics and community involvement.
