The Delhi High School track and field team traveled south to Kaplan to compete in the North Vermilion Patriot Relays on April 1, delivering an impressive performance with multiple first-place finishes and several additional podium spots against strong competition.
The Bears were led by Terrance Williams, who claimed first place in the boys 300-meter hurdles with a winning time of 38.87.
Delhi also secured another victory in the boys 4x200-meter relay, where the team raced to first place with a time of 1:31.19, showcasing strong speed and smooth baton exchanges.
In addition to the wins, Delhi athletes earned key runner-up finishes. The girls 4x100-meter relay team placed second with a time of 53.24, while Devin Miles finished second in the boys 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.39.
The Bears continued to add to their medal count with third-place finishes in both the girls 4x200meter relay (1:55.26) and the boys 4x100-meter relay (44.19).
Several other Delhi athletes competed well across running and field events, contributing to a strong overall showing and gaining valuable experience as the season progresses.
