The Delhi Charter Lady Gators were limited offensively in a 10-0 loss to Ouachita Christian on March 24.
Despite the final score, Delhi Charter found a few bright spots against a tough Ouachita Christian squad.
Olivia Clark accounted for the Lady Gators’ lone hit, finishing 1-for-3 with a triple. Taylor Mitchell also worked two walks, helping Delhi Charter put runners on base. Aundi Huckaby reached after being hit by a pitch.
In the circle, Alli Henson pitched all six innings for Delhi Charter. Henson battled through the outing and finished with two walks allowed while facing a lineup that produced 13 hits.
Ouachita Christian used steady offense throughout the game, scoring in five of the six innings and capitalizing on scoring opportunities to build separation.
Defensively, the Lady Gators continued to fight through a difficult matchup while looking for chances to settle in and make plays.
Delhi Charter will look to regroup and build on the effort as the Lady Gators continue through the season.
