Students from Delhi Charter School recently showcased their academic talents at the District Literary Rally held March 14 at Louisiana Tech University.
Sponsored by the Louisiana High School Rally Association, the annual competition gives students an opportunity to earn recognition for academic achievement across a wide range of subjects.
Delhi Charter students earning honors included: Abbygail Maynard, second place in Advanced Math (Pre Calculus) Lashayla Jones, second place in Agriscience I (not pictured) Maddie Wilkins, second place in Agriscience III Frederic Curlin, second place in Biology II Raeleigh Comeaux, second place in English Literature Samyah Guice, first place in Fine Arts Survey Raylee Fallin, second place in Health Kailey Johnson, second place in Journalism I Jacey Whitley, first place in Spelling 9 Natalie Clark, third place in Spelling 10 Tanner McKinley, first place in Spelling II Michael Ivy, first place in World History The top non-district test takers have officially qualified for the State Literary Rally, which will be held April 18 at Louisiana State University.
Delhi Charter will now send its state qualifiers on to the next level of competition as they continue representing the school and community in academic events.
