Residents are invited to stop by the Richland Parish Extension Service office March 19 for an open house designed to introduce the community to its programs and staff.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Extension office, 702 Madeline St. in Rayville.
The open house will give community members an opportunity to meet Extension staff, learn about available resources and share ideas about issues affecting Richland Parish.
Visitors at the open house will also be able to learn more about the programs and services offered through the LSU AgCenter Extension Service, which provides education and outreach in areas such as agriculture, youth development, nutrition and community development. Refreshments will be available during the event, and organizers encourage residents to stop in throughout the day for conversation and information.
