Pleasant Grove sets pastor anniversary
Pleasant Grove #1 Baptist Church will celebrate the 15th pastor anniversary of Pastor Bobby Harris and wife on March 15.
The service will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the church, located at 157 Pilgrim Road in Rayville.
Special guest Pastor Harold McCoy of Greater New Beginning Christian Ministries will attend.
Pastors appreciation breakfast set
The Richland Parish Chamber of Commerce will host its Pastors Appreciation Breakfast at 9 a.m. March 24 at Planter’s Warehouse.
The event honors pastors for their leadership and service throughout the parish.

4-H strawberries for fundraiser
Richland Parish 4-H is selling fresh strawberries for $25 per flat to help students attend 4-H University and summer camp.
Orders must be placed and paid for by March 17. Pickup is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 23 at the 4-H office.
Checks should be made payable to “Richland 4-H Foundation.” Organizers said no refunds will be issued and they are not responsible for strawberries not picked up on March 23.

Praise in the Park set for summer
“Praise in the Park” will return to downtown Rayville on Wednesdays this summer with three scheduled dates.
Community members are invited to gather May 20, June 17 and July 15 for the worship events.
