Both Delhi Charter School’s senior and freshman teams swept the NELA VEX Robotics Tournament Feb. 7 in Delhi.
The senior team ran undefeated the entire tournament, while the freshman team only lost one match to the senior team in the qualifying rounds. Both teams partnered together to form the winning alliance in the elimination rounds and take home the Tournament Champions trophy. The senior team also took home the Robot Skills trophy for the highest single-robot score in the event. With this victory, both teams are now qualified to compete at the Louisiana State Championship Feb. 26-27 in Lake Charles.
