Residents are invited to gather for an afternoon of food, games and family fun during Mangham Community Day on Feb. 8 at Mangham Ballpark.
“Mangham Community Day reflects the heart of our town,” Mayor Charlotte Boone said. “We want to bring this league back to life, invest in our kids and strengthen the sense of community that makes Mangham a great place to call home. When the town and community organizations work side by side, we’re not just reviving a league – we’re building a stronger, more connected Mangham for future generations.”
The event will take place from 2–4 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Organizers say the goal is to bring the Mangham community together in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
Activities will include free food and drinks, games and prizes, a jumper for children and activities designed for all age groups. A kickball tournament will also be held, with teams able to sign up on the day of the event.
Mangham Dixie Youth Baseball representatives will be on site to provide information and accept signups for the upcoming 2026 season.
Those who attend will also have the opportunity to register for a chance to win Monroe Moccasins tickets and merchandise.
Mangham Community Day is supported by the Town of Mangham, Mangham Enrichment Committee, the Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office, Mangham Diamond Youth Baseball and local businesses.
