Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced his department made the following arrests and issued traffic citations from Jan. 4-18.
During the reporting period, officers handled 15 traffic violations, including 12 speeding citations, two drag racing violations, and one red light violation.
Police also made several criminal arrests during the two-week period.
Charges included damage to property less than $1,000, disturbing the peace by profanity, public intoxication, resisting arrest, disobedience to a police officer and disturbing the peace.
