WSB announces bankwide promotions

Winnsboro State Bank recently announced the promotion of five of its employees.

Christie Spillers has been named Region Retail Officer.

Additionally, the bank has appointed four new Branch Managers: Ashley White for the Rayville branch, Samantha Chapman for the Mangham branch, Brittany Berry for the Gilbert branch, and Tina Berkemeyer for the Main Office.

Christie Spillers brings 19+ years of banking experience to her new role, having served with WSB for more than seven years. She is currently in her second year at Richland

318-728-2250 the Louisiana Tech School of Banking. Spillers and her husband of 32 years, Jay, are the parents of Meagan Wilson and proud grandparents of Shepherd, Halle, and River. Outside of the office, Spillers enjoys spending time with family and attending her grandchildren’s school and community events.

Ashley White has been part of the WSB team for six years and possesses 11+ years of total banking experience. She and her husband, James, have been married for 21 years; together they have two children and three grandchildren. White’s hobbies include traveling, crafting, and spending quality time with her family.

With over a decade of community banking experience, Samantha Chapman has provided financial solutions and guidance to customers across Northeast Louisiana.

Chapman is a devoted wife and mother of four children. She enjoys the outdoors, 318-649-7136 including time spent on the family farm, fishing, tending to their animals, and cheering on her children’s athletic endeavors.

A graduate of Franklin Parish High School and Western Governors University, Brittany Berry has enjoyed a tenure at WSB spanning 18+ years. She and her husband, Samuel, are the proud parents of a son, Grayson. They are members of South Central Baptist Church, where Brittany serves as Music Leader. Her 318-428-3207 interests include cooking, baking, canning, gardening, and singing.

Tina Berkemeyer began her career at WSB in 1997. Over the years, she has served in several pivotal roles, including Manager, Teller Supervisor, Human Resources Officer, and Incentive Coordinator. Following a brief one-year retirement, she has returned to the team as the Main Office Branch Manager. Outside of work, Tina enjoys the company of her family, friends, and pets. She is the proud parent of one daughter and has three grandchildren.
