Richland Parish man accused of shooting his father

A Richland Parish man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his father.
Richland Parish Sheriff Gary Gilley said his office received a 911 call at 3:02 p.m. on June 2 reporting a shooting had taken place at 157 Legacy Drive in Rayville.
When the RPSO and Rayville Police Department arrived on the scene, officers discovered Tony D. Griffin deceased inside the residence. Deputies and police officers began an investigation which revealed Zachary Kyle Griffin, the 23-year-old son of the victim, had been in a verbal altercation with his father just prior to the shooting. 
Griffin was arrested by RPSO and charged with one count of seco0000nd degree murder. He was booked into the Richland Parish Detention Center without bond.
