Police Report

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of June 26 through July 2.

• Frederick Wheeler, 46; possession of Schedule II anddisturbing the peace by profanity.

• Alex Fourroux, 29; loitering, remaining after forbidden and disobedience to a police officer.

• Tommy Ellis, 39; remaining after forbidden, public intoxication and disturbing the peace (two counts).

• Jared Rainbolt, 40; careless operation, improper lane change, speeding, open container, running a stop sign and head lights.

• Chris Davis, 36; disturbing the peace (general) and simple assault.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of three traffic citations this week. That number includes one each for speeding expired license plate and no child restraint.

Chief Markus Turner would like to remind everyone that city court was canceled for the month of July. He advised if you had a court date of July 3, your new court date is at 5 p.m. Aug. 7.
