Police Report

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of May 15-21.

• Charzetta Barker, 39; theft less than $300, possession of Schedule 1 and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Sammie Williams, 64; shoplifting (two counts).

• Shartie Jones, 46; simple battery.

• Christopher Davis,, 36; failure to appear for no driver’s license, failure to appear for disturbing the peace by loud music, failure to appear for driving off road vehicle and failure to appear for brake lights (two required).

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of 19 traffic citations this week. 

That number includes 15 for speeding and one each for improper lane usage with an accident, switched license plate, failure to register vehicle and expired license plate.
