Police Report

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Jan. 22-29.

• Joshua Starr, 3213 Marietta St., Chalmetta; expired license plate, driving under suspension and no proof of insurance.

• Keith Dugan, 304 Merrick St., Rayville; simple criminal trespassing (three counts).

• Nafessa Naylor, 315 Blackmon St., Rayville; indecent exposure, resisting arrest (two counts), disturbing the peace (profanity), remaining after forbidden, damage to property and simple assault.

• John Thornton, 114B North Circle Drive, Rayville; theft and resisting an officer (two counts).

• Natasha Robinson, 225 Emma St., Mangham; disturbing the peace (general).

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of nine traffic citations this week. That number includes two each for speeding and failure to report an accident and one each for careless operation, no driver’s license, hit and run, wrong way on a one way and expired license plate.
