McLemore Bridge closed for repairs

The McLemore Road bridge over Bee Bayou in Richland Parish is currently closed.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists this closure is scheduled to be in place for approximately two months, and is necessary to allow the contractor to complete the removal and replacement of the existing bridge structure. This work will be performed weather permitting. Detour signage will be in place. This is a total road closure and all vehicles must detour.
