Chamber, COA feed seniors

The Richland Parish Chamber of Commerce funded an Easter meal for the participants of the Richland Voluntary Council on Aging. 

“Our congregate members (those who eat at the centers) and our home delivered meal members received  pork loin and assorted vegetables for their enjoyment,” Richland Voluntary Council on Aging Bonnie Payne said. “This act of kindness made our seniors feel special.”

Payne would also like to thank Dale Martin at Robinson’s Meat Market for his assistance in procuring the pork loins and assorted vegetables for the meal.  

“Mr. Martin, we appreciate you also for your willingness to help the elderly of Richland Parish,” she said.
