Police Report

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Jan. 8-17.

A total of 18 adults were charged. That included six for theft less than $100, two for switched plates and one each for failure to register vehicle, no insurance, simple criminal trespass, simple battery, driving under suspension, aggravated assault, open container, cruelty to a juvenile, reckless operation and improper child restraint.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of 16 traffic citations this week.

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Dec. 25-31.

A total of 10 adults were arrested.

Two each were charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, disobedience to a police officer and simple battery; and one each for damage to property, resisting arrest by force, remaining after forbidden and driving under suspension.

One juvenile was arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor.

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Nov. 13-19.

Eight arrests were made, including three for failure to appear and one each for shoplifting, theft, speeding, simple criminal trespass and no driver’s license.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of nine traffic citations this week. That number includes seven for speeding and one each for failure to yield and driving under suspension.

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Nov. 6-12.

• Failure to appear (two arrests).

• Shoplifting.

• Disturbing the peace by fighting.

• Open container.

• Aggravated flight from an officer.

• No driver’s license.

• One juvenile was charged with no driver’s license.

• Theft of firearm, 

• Failure to appear.

• Resisting arrest.

• Illegal carrying of a weapon.

• Possession of concealed weapon by felon.

• Speeding.

• Driving under suspension.
