Police Report

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made 14 arrests for the week of April 8-14.

 Those included two each for disturbing the peace, aggravated assault with a firearm and theft less than $1,000 and one each for resisting arrest, remaining after being forbidden, domestic abuse battery, simple battery, obstruction of justice, criminal trespassing, damage to property and no driver’s license.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of 23 traffic citations this week. That number includes 12 for speeding, three for no driver’s license in possession and one each for obstruction of driver, modified exhaust, failure to carry registration, no proof of insurance, disturbing the peace by loud music, no driver’s license, stop sign and careless operation with an accident.
