Knapp, Johnson wedding planned

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Brian Knapp of Port Charlotte, Florida, are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Elise Knapp, to Thomas Armistead Johnson, son of Dr. and Mrs. Lester Wayne Johnson of Rayville.

Jessica is the granddaughter of Mrs. Phyllis Charbonnet Knapp and the late Mr. Burton Knapp of Lacombe. Her maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. William Keller of Elmhurst, New York.

She is a graduate of Arab High School in north Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, and a Master of Occupational Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Science Center School of Allied Health, New Orleans. 

Thomas is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas West Barham of Oak Ridge, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lester Johnson of Rayville.

He is a graduate of Riverfield Academy, Rayville. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Thomas earned a Master of Arts in the Liberal Arts from Louisiana State University. He completed his law degree at the University of Virginia School of Law, Charlottesville, VA, where he served as an editor of The University of Virginia Law Review.

The wedding will take place in spring 2022.
