Holly Ridge Happenings

To make a difference in someone’s life, you don’t have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful or perfect. You just have to care. The most powerful weapon on the earth is the human soul on fire. The devil tries to get you to worry about the future so you can’t focus on the joy in your life right now.

Enjoy every minute, because life is a gift from God.

Sue Cobb from Lafayette spent several days up this way with Jerry and Diane getting everything ready to kill that hog or deer. She is planning on selling her home in Lafayette and moving to Monroe, so I’m sure we will see more of her.

Jeanne, Greg, Cooper and Colton motored over to Jackson on Thursday for lunch at the Mayflower Cafe, the oldest in Mississippi. The food was great!

We enjoyed voting day at Thompson Store on Saturday. More came out to vote than expected, so you need to vote.

Though you have not seen Him, you love Him. Though you do not now see Him, you believe in Him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your soul. Jesus is all we need.
