Malcolm Rudolph Patterson

Malcolm Rudolph (Pat) Patterson, 83, died Sunday, August 25, 2019 at home in Start after a long illness.

He leaves his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Thomason Patterson, five children, including Kellye Patterson Piro (Joe); Melissa Carol Patterson Rankin (Scott); Malcolm Rudolph Patterson II; John Diamond Patterson (Kristy); Jason Walker Patterson (Rebecca); grandchildren Alicia, Joshua, Grace, Julia, Olivia; great-grandson Gabriel; sister Patsy Patterson Wilbanks; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Joseph Freeland

Funeral services for Joseph Freeland, 39, of Rayville, were held Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Harmony Baptist Church, Delhi, with Bro. Russell Caldwell and Mr. Gary Ezell officiating.

Interment followed in the Stevenson Cemetery, Rayville under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Joseph was born January 10, 1980 in Delhi and passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 in Rayville after a lengthy illness.

Rilla Mae Beach

Graveside services for Rilla Mae Beach, 85, of Rayville,  were held Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Beach Cemetery, Rayville, with Bro. Ricky Baker officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mrs. Beach was born September 15, 1933 in Rayville and passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019 in Rayville.

Mrs. Rilla Mae is preceded in death by her parents, Jeanette and Rilla Hurt; grandson, James “Richie” McGuire, Jr.; husband of 70 years, Mose Beach

Timmie Ray Thames

Funeral services for Timmie Ray Thames, 72, of Rayville, LA will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, Rayville, LA with Dr. Eddie Wren, Mr. Tom Allen, Mr. Steve Roark, and Mr. Joe Bruyninckx officiating. Interment will follow in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Timmie Ray was born June 1, 1947 in Rayville, LA and passed away Friday, August 9, 2019 in Birmingham, AL.

Elizabeth Joseph

Elizabeth Joseph, 66, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Christian Hospital in St. Louis, MO, due to complications following a stroke. 

She was born in Quebec, LA on June 27, 1953, to Henry and Lou Ethel Monroe. 

A graduate of Delhi High School, she pursued professional training in administration and enjoyed a successful, 36-year career with the U.S. Army. 

Remembered by many as the life of the party, Elizabeth found her greatest joy in the simple pleasures; visiting and chatting with close family and friends.
