Obituaries

Funeral services for Zona M. McKay, 89, of Mangham, will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Mangham Baptist Church, Mangham, with Bro. Rick Aultman officiating.

Interment will follow in the Gwin Cemetery, Mangham, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mrs. Zona was born March 5, 1932 in Wink, TX, and passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 in Mangham.

Graveside services for Marilyn McKoin, 78, of Newellton, were Thursday, April 22, 2021, in Legion Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home, Winnsboro.  Visitation was Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at the funeral home.

Marilyn was born September 15, 1942 in Newellton to the union of Edward Eugene Sikes and Joyce Geneva Nolan Sikes and passed from this life on April 19, 2021 at her residence in Newellton.

Marilyn was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.  She enjoyed spending her time reading, cooking and taking care of others.

Funeral services for Nora Griggs, 61, of Saint Joseph, will be held at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021, with Bro. Adrian Lundy officiating. 

Interment will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery, Newellton, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Nora Griggs was born on Tuesday, May 19, 1959, in Ravenden, Arkansas and passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at St Francis Medical  Hospital in Monroe.
