Graveside services for Melvin Jordan Herman, 77, of Epps, will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the Herringville Church Cemetery, Monticello, with Sis. Dee Temple officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mr. Melvin was born July 13, 1944, in Tallulah and passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, in West Monroe.

Funeral services for Virginia M. Evans, 88, of Rayville, will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, with Bro. Richard Robinson officiating. 

Interment will be in the Holly Ridge Cemetery, Holly Ridge, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mrs. Virginia was born January 23, 1933, in Holly Ridge and passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, in Rayville. 

Virginia King Austin went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2021, ending several years of hard-fought battles with illness. 

She never gave up fighting so that she could remain with her family. While her time with us ended too soon, those who knew her will cherish her memories forever. She was the rock of our family and always was there for us. Her family was her priority and passion.
