George Dell Hogg

George Dell Hogg of Delhi passed away at the age of 81 in West Monroe on April 11, 2019. 

He was born December 10, 1937 near Lamesa, Texas. Friends knew him as Dell, but family knew him as Judge, which was a nickname his grandfather gave him at birth. 

Dell grew up in and around Dawson County Texas working with his dad farming and working around cotton gins. He married Edith Ann Montgomery on February 14, 1959. They moved their young family from Texas to Rayville, Louisiana in 1965. He continued to work in the cotton gin industry until his retirement in 1995.

Jim Lee Boies

Funeral services for Mr. Jim Lee Boies were held on Friday April 12, 2019 at Alto Baptist Church with Dr. Allen Miller officiating. 

Visitation was until time of service. 

Mr. Boies was an electrician, a member of Alto Baptist Church, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family, the outdoors, and wood working. 

Mr. Boies is survived by his wife of 55 years Mrs.  Andrea Taylor Boies, one daughter, Mrs. Tracy Chamblee and husband Mike of Dallas, Texas. Sister, Rachel Brister and husband Lynn of Alto.

Bennie Charles Robinson Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Bennie Charles Robinson Sr.,  90, of Rayville, were held Friday April 12, 2019 at the First Baptist Church Rayville, LA with Dr. Eddie Wren officiating.

Internment followed in the Start Cemetery, Start,  under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville. Visitation was Friday, April 12, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, Rayville.

Wilburn Lee Dove

Funeral services for Wilburn “Will” Lee Dove, 73, of Holly Ridge, will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the sanctuary of Rayville United Pentecostal Church with Bro. Stacy Thomas, Bro. Robert Stroud, and Bro. E.R. Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greer Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
Will was born December 16, 1945 in Rayville, LA to the union of T.A. and Minnie Dove and he passed from this life Sunday, April 7, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness.

Carlos Wayne Mann Sr.

Funeral services for Carlos Wayne Mann Sr., 71, of Rayville, were held Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville with Bro. Charlie Gowin, Bro. John Skinner, and Bro. Tim Fulmer officiating.
Interment was in the McKnight Cemetery, Holly Ridge.
Carlos was born February 7, 1948 in Rayville, LA and passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 in Rayville, LA after a lengthy illness.
