Irene M. Jones

Funeral services for Mrs. Irene M. Jones, 69, of Delhi, were held Monday, October 30, 2023, at Brown-Holley Chapel, Rayville, with Bro. Robbin Cox officiating. 

Interment was in the Start Cemetery, Start, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mrs. Irene was born March 15, 1954, in Start and passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, in Monroe. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Roberta Moore; son, Jody Ponder; sister, Martha Amos; brother, Carl Moore; granddaughter, Alexis Jones.

Woody S. Netherland

Funeral services for Woody S. Netherland, 80, of Rayville, were held Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Rayville First Assembly of God, Rayville, with Pastor Mike Jackson officiating. 

Interment was in the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville. 

Woody was born February 6, 1943, in Winnsboro and passed away Monday, October 16, 2023, in Rayville.

Sgt. Nathaniel Randolph

Sgt. Nathaniel “Nate” Randolph departed this life on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at his home with his devoted wife, Constance, by his side.

He was 74, a native of Delhi, and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation  on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Star Hill Baptist Church, 1400 North Foster Dr., Baton Rouge, from 8 a.m. until religious services begin at 10 a.m. conducted by Rev. Lynwood Spell.

Burial in the Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary. 

Rickey L. Berry

Funeral services for Rev. Rickey L. Berry, 67, of Rayville, were held Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, with Bro. Roger Temple officiating. 

Interment was in the Lynn Cemetery, Archibald,  under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Rickey was born September 6, 1956 in Delhi, and passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.H. and Dorothy Berry; brothers, William Berry, Tim Berry and Mike Berry; and nephew, LaDale Munholland.

Travis Wayne Richards

Memorial services for Travis Wayne “Cootsie” Richards, 84, of Delhi, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 13, 2023, at Delhi Presbyterian Church in Delhi with Reverend Chris Wright and Reverend Paul Lipe, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Cootsie was born on December 8, 1938, in White Oak, Texas and died Monday, October 9, 2023, in Alexandria with his three children at his side.
