Martha Louise Sartor

Memorial services for Martha Louise Sartor, 89, of Alto, will be held graveside at Alto Baptist Church Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. 

Ms. Sartor died on Friday, May 15, 2020, at Azalea Estates Assisted Living in Monroe.  Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rubie Bean and James M. Sartor and her grandparents, Dr. D. R. Sartor and Eliza Balfour Sartor. She is survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Kenneth Dunham

Private family memorial services for Kenneth “K.C.” Dunham of Rayville will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.

K.C. was born April 18, 1977 in Mill Valley, CA and passed from this life on May 17, 2020 in Monroe at the age of 43.  He always gave the best hugs and even though he couldn’t speak on earth, he is now made new and with his dad having conversations like he never could and talking with friends and loved ones who have gone on before us.  He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  

Jessie L. Klett

Graveside services for Jessie L. Klett, 84, of Rayville, were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Epps Cemetery in Epps, with Steve Hillman and Walter Hillman officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville. 

Mrs. Klett was born January 11, 1936 in Delhi and passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in Monroe. 

Albert Levon Patterson

Memorial services for Mr. Albert Levon Patterson of Hebert, will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro.

Mr. Patterson was born August 24, 1943 in Mangham and passed from this life on May 8, 2020 at his home in Hebert at the age of 76.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ruby Patterson; one son, Ryan Matthew Patterson; one brother, Bertie Patterson; and one sister, Mary Murray.

Don E. Buckles

Don E. Buckles, 70, a native of Rayville, passed away at his home in Houston, Texas on April 27, 2020. 

He was born January 1, 1950, the first baby of the year at St. Francis in Monroe.  The doctor was wearing a tuxedo when he delivered Don.  He was called “Tux” by the doctors and nurses.  His parents were Claude H. and Opal W. Buckles.

He always loved horses and when he was younger he was a member of the Rayville Riding Club.  He also loved dogs and always had at least two.
