Walter Eugene Seneff Sr.

Memorial services with Marine Corps Honors for Walter Eugene Seneff, Sr. were held Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery near Rayville under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville. 

Bro.Trent Allen officiated the service.

Walter “Eugene” Seneff, Sr. was born December 3, 1947 in Huntingburg, Indiana and passed away November 28, 2018. 

He is proceeded in death by his parents Sheldon T. Seneff and Henrietta Marie Parsons Seneff.

Eugene was a lifelong resident of Rayville, Louisiana where he settled after proudly serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a combat veteran in Vietnam and received the Purple Heart. He spent his career at the United States Post Office, and once retired took up farming, Eugene was an avid member of the National Dutch Oven Society and traveled around the country cooking.

He is survived by his wife Karen; three sisters, Delores Graham, Ruth Baker, and Kay Graves; two sons, Gene Seneff and wife Janice, Shane Seneff and wife Brandy; two daughters, Kim Dickson and husband Jay and Kristen Seale; six grandchildren, Alexa, Zayne, and Hunter Seneff; Amanda, Bella and Cami Dickson; dear cousin Sheldon Groan and close friend Kathy Colson.
