Leonard Sullivan

Funeral services for Leonard Sullivan, 84, of Rayville, were held Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Crew Lake United Methodist Church, Start,  with Bro. Marshall Sevier and Mike Sullivan officiating. 

Interment followed in the Start Cemetery, Start, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Leonard was born November 20, 1934 in Calhoun, LA and passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 in Rayville, LA.

Mr. Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, Lannie and Inez Sullivan; stepmother, Laverne Watts Sullivan; and his sisters, Vi Watts and Joy Perry.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Carol Sullivan of Rayville, LA; son, Brad Sullivan and wife, Lisa of Monroe, LA; special daughter, Shauna Cumpton and husband, Leo of Rayville; grandson, Justin Sullivan and wife, Jyssica; special grandson, Charles Zachary Cumpton of Rayville, LA; great grandson, John Cooper Sullivan of Rayville, LA; siblings, Lillie Nalipa of TX, James L. Sullivan and wife, Melba of Delhi, LA, Lena Graham of CA, Joyce Boughton of Rayville, LA, Helen Chaney of West Monroe, LA, Elsie Harvey and husband, Don of TX, Gay Douglus and husband, Marshall of Alexandria, LA, and Mike Sullivan and wife, Lora Ann of Rayville, LA; sister-in-law, Nelwyn Spruell and husband, Charles; special niece, Paula Spruell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Edward Greer, David Moore, LeRoy Ratcliff, Benny Love, Denny Love and Dalton Mason.

Honorary pallbearers were Will Ed Dark and Billy Whitten.
