Joseph Morris Sr.

Graveside Services for Mr. Joseph Morris, Sr., 66 of Rayville, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Rayville Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Woods Watson officiating. 

The service will be under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville.

Mr. Joe loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed playing golf, flying planes, travel, scuba dive, hang out on the lake, and loved to farm.  He was preceded in death by his parents; Orie Lee Morris, and Jimmie Lois O’Bryant Morris, and siblings; Charles Morris, Helen Parks, and John Morris. 

Survivors include:  children; Joseph Lee Morris, Jr., and wife Lacey of Rayville, Joshua Daniel Morris and wife Kristina of Calhoun, and Jeananne Antoinette Larsen and husband Brett of Monroe, 7 grandchildren; Remy Larsen, Peta McGregor, Lola Larsen, Madison Morris, Luke Morris, Landry Morris, and Jackson Morris, sisters and brothers; Elaine Malone, Betty Abrew, Brenda Evans, Virginia Mills, Orie Gene Morris, and Ted Morris.

Pallbearers are: Mike Adcock, Allan Jordan, Larry Lockabay, Billy Townsend, Chris Norris, Jess Cochran and James Green. 

Honorary pallbearers are: Jay Ellington and Mike Shoemaker.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville.
