David Leon Huckabay

Services for David Leon Huckabay, 60 of Rayville will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Zebedee Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Parker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Greer Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral home-Rayville.
David was born on January 31, 1957 in Monroe and passed from this life on December 9, 2017 in Delhi, LA.
He loved his wife, family, and grandchildren. He loved to ride his motorcycle, play chess, watch Saints Football, looking on I-Pad all the time, taking pictures of kids and grandchildren. He was dedicated to his job at Georgia Pacific in West Monroe for 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents-John and Martha Davis Huckabay, paternal grandparents-George William and Lyde Huckabay, and maternal grandparents-Lamuel M. Davis and Nellie Compton Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years-Thelma Frith Huckabay; three children-Lee Ellen (Cricket) Huckabay Raney and husband Richard of Rayville, Tracy Maxwell and husband Cody of Rayville, and Stacey Little and husband Jason of Rayville; seven grandchildren-Angel Raney, Jenna Wright, David Dakota Little, Shelbie Raney, Rayleigh Raney, Logan Maxwell, and Lily Maxwell; two sisters-Bonnie Payne and Patricia Ann Little; three brothers-Johnie Ray Huckabay, Billy Huckabay, and Doyle Huckabay; best friend-Pete Frith; and numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Huckabay, J.J. Huckabay, Jason Little, Ethan Raney, Jacob Freeland and Jeremy Moore.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Zebedee Baptist Church.
