Rhymes society to celebrate 30 years

The executive committee, board of trustees and staff of the Original Rhymer Library Restoration Socity proudly announce a celebration to be held  at 3 p.m. May 19 in the Rhymes Memorial Building following the organization’s annual meeting honoring the 30th Anniversary of the organizing of the Original Richland Library Restoration Society.

Quick action ends dog attack

Quick actions by neighbors saved a young woman from a dog attack in Delhi.

Delhi Police Chief Roy Williams said on March 2, his department received a call in reference to a dog attacking a young lady on Robinson Lane in Delhi. When Delhi Police Department officers arrived at the scene they found a 16-year-old female that had suffered dog bites to he lower extremities.  

Cupits entertain Saints Alive during February meeting

Saints Alive, a ministry of First Baptist Church, held its monthly meeting on Monday, Feb. 25.

 Saints Alive meets during the months of September through May. Anyone 50 or over is invited to join. Membership dues are $10 per person for the year. We have delicious meals, wonderful Christian entertainment and ministry and the best fellowship ever. Come for a visit, and then if you would like to join, you are most welcome.
