Two arrested following home invasion

Two men have been arrested for allegedly participating in a home invasion.

The Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at approximately 6:08 a.m. on Aug. 9 from a residence located on Hwy 425, Rayville.

Richland Parish Sheriff Gary Gilley said the caller reported a man had entered the home and that her husband had left the house and had not returned. RPSO deputies responded and found a male victim near the mailbox along Hwy 425. The female victim was in the house. The male victim was transported to a hospital in Shreveport where he is in stable condition. The female was treated and released.

The investigation led to the arrest of James L. Tabb, 29, on charges of attempted first-degree murder with no bond.

Also arrested was Terrance T. Miles, 26.

He was charged with accessory after the fact of attempted murder.

No bond has been set at this time. Both men are being held at the Richland Parish Detention Center.
