Deputies earn award for volunteer service
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Education Section presented Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office Captain Randy Swain and Reserve Deputy Randy Ogles with an award for Outstanding Volunteer Service for Hunter Safety and Firearms Training.
“Deputies Swain and Ogles have over 23 years of combined experience teaching hundreds of our parish youth Hunter Safety and Firearms Training,” Richland Parish Sheriff Gary Gilley said. “We are very fortunate to have these deputies volunteering to educate our youth.”
The next hunter safety class is scheduled for mid-August in Richland Parish and will be posted on the LDWF website.
