MLK Society barbecue plate sale

The Martin Luther King Memorial Society will host a barbecue plate sale from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 1 at the Wal-Mart parking lot. They will serve grilled/barbecue chicken for $9 and chicken and sausage for $10. Plate delivery is available. Proceeds go toward the MLK Day banquet and youth day activities.
