The Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Dec. 20-27.

• Chazmon Reynolds, 20, 229 Church St., Rayville; remaining after forbidden, failure to appear on trespassing and damage to property greater than $300.

• Latrail Seals, 32, 11 Cherry Drive, Rayville; failure to appear on simple battery, simple battery, resisting arrest and disobedience to a police officer.

The Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Dec. 6-13.

• Gary Collins, 18, 504 Spruce St., Rayville; trespassing.

• Charles Murphy, 30, 6407 Highway 80, Rayville; failure to appear (two counts).

• Jahse Allah. 21, 372 Huenefield Raod, Apt. 26, Monroe; monetary instrument abuse, possession of Schedule I, speeding, headlamp violation and red light violation.

• Peter Wheeler, 24, 134 A South Circle Drive, Rayville; disturbing the peace by fighting.

Boughton elected to local FSA committee

Jeffery L. Boughton of Mangham has been elected to represent Farm Service Agency Local Administrative Area (3) during the recent county committee election.

“County Committee members are a critical component of the day-to-day operations of FSA,” Richland Executive Director Kenneth W. Cook III  said. “They help deliver programs at the county level and work to serve the needs of local producers. All recently elected county committee members will take office in January 2021 and will be joining the existing committee.” 

Richland students named to honors list at Tech

Several Richland Parish students have been named to Louisiana Tech University’s fall quarter president’s and dean’s honor lists.

Richland Parish students named to the Louisiana Tech President’s list are Callie M. Ezell, Katherine Kelli Franklin and Anna Beth Lanehart Raley of Delhi; Kylee Beth Payne of Mangham; and  Garrett Miller Brakefield, Shy-ann Cassie Carnicle, Reid Andrews Davis, Kelsey O’Neal Horath, Madison J. Kennedy, Sydney Alexis Mashaw and Suraj N. Patel of Rayville.
