Police Report

The Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of April 6-11.

• Ladasia Jackson,23; 316 Russell St., Apt. 43, Rayville; disturbing the peace (general).

• Rhonda Smith, 55; 309 Tullas Road, Hebert; shoplifting.

• James Brantley, 55;  905 Spruce St., Rayville; disturbing the peace and simple drunk.

• James Templeton, 34; 304 Hayes St., Rayville; theft less than $100.

Rayville Police Chief Willie Robinson said, “I would like to remind all citizens of the importance of social distancing during this time. Not only is social distancing deemed critical in slowing the spread of COVID-19, this practice is required. Remember to avoid close contact with people who are sick. Please continue to adhere to the governor’s orders and stay safe.”
