Crew Lake Methodist women exchange plants

Crew Lake Methodist Women held their fifth annual plant swap May 2.

Emma Joe Sullivan blessed the food which was a little different. The meal consisted of salads and deserts, assorted crackers and beverages.

After the meal, the business began.

A devotional was given by Dianne Williams. It was titled Are You Sowing Scripture’s Seed and based on a reading from Corinthians 3:5-10.

Old and new business was discussed. The minutes were read by Lillian Whitten.

After the meeting, each lady told what plant she had brought for everyone. The ladies went home with different flowers.

Frances Goodson passed out  names of each lady to draw for prayer partners.

Those present were Joan Brown, Tootie Brighton, Sue Duffie, Brenda Duffie, Frances Goodson, Angie Pickens, Emma Jo Sullivan, Connie Wood, Lillian Whitten, Mary Joyce Whitten and Dianne Williams.

The next meeting will be in September.
