Carolyn Eads, 66, of Rayville, passed away June 27, 2017. Mrs. Carolyn’s family will hold a memorial service for her at a later date.
The Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of June 19-25.
• Ryan L. Thompson, 35, 202 Mulberry St., Rayville; damage to property greater than $500.
Joe Allen Woodard, 74, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in Holly Bluff, MS.
Brent LaMarr Thornton of Hendersonville, Tennessee, was born September 20, 1961 and he passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2017.
A third man has been arrested on charges of attempted second degree murder and aggravated burglary in connection with a recent home invasion in Rayville.

The Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office now has a drug drop box available that will allow citizens the opportunity to deposit unused, unwanted or expired prescription drugs.
